Writing samples should be typed using Times New Roman (12pt) font. Genre specific guidelines are as follows:</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Short Fiction: </span>Submit one complete story, no excerpts. Your submission should be double-spaced and no more than 15 pages.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Travel Essays:</span> Submit one complete essay, no excerpts. Your submission should be double-spaced and no more than 15 pages.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Poetry:</span> Submit 3-5, single-spaced poems.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;"><span style="font-style: italic;">The Rattling Wall</span> staff responds to submissions within 2 months.
